Anonymous asked: hi, i really enjoy your game but i want to save my progress when i finish playing. when close the game it puts back on day 1. this is quite frustrating because i have to collect weapons again and metal, i also dont like how you can hold two of the same gun and cant throw bad guns away so i you could let us do that? :)
Thank you for the excellent feedback! You will be happy to know that all those issues have been addressed in the next alpha release which should be ready by 4/20. Though it will maintain the arcade style aspect of having to start from level 1 every time you die, but the game and day rates have been made so the game is faster paced.

Release Coming Soon!
How soon? Not sure, but pretty soon. It will make the alpha-2 demo look like a joke. The purchasing model will include buying super cheap into the alpha/beta releases and receive every update for free. Similar to the minecraft model if you are familiar with it. Naturally my game will be DRM free, since I fucking hate DRM.

The 2nd version of the demo of Over 9000 Zombies! is now available for download and play @ http://www.indiedb.com/games/over-9000-zombies . It is located in the downloads section.

Future plans include ideas for 20+ more weapons, turrets, zombies. I also plan on adding an arcade style system where at the end of each day, the zombies get buffed according to a random draw, e.g. +10% hp or +10% speed, etc. to create further increasing difficulty as time passes. There is much more planned as well for the actual release!

The new demo also features multiple bug fixes, including the ability to transform into Jesus and walk on water. Also new Turret AI has been employed to improve accuracy and reliability!

Over 9000 Zombies Alpha Demo V2 will be released shortly for testing. The game has tons of new features and upgrades to old ones! The interface has been switched to graphical and mouse based instead of clunky keyboard controls. Same with the building interface, it has been completely redone so it is fast and simple.

Update: I am working hard on implementing mouse aiming and mouse related controls since feedback indicated keyboard only aiming was difficult. Also explosions now produce a blast force launching zombies away from the origin of the blast! Zombies that collide with walls will splatter and die.
